Rose coconut ladoo has rose syrup flavor along with freshly finely chopped rose petals. It is one more easiest sweet which can be prepared during festivals and requires less ingredients and less time. Rose syrup gives nice pink color to the ladoo. You can skip adding red food color to the ladoo. Kids will like this ladoo because of its color itself.
Desiccated coconut - 1 Cup + 4 tbsp
Condensed Milk - 1/3 Cup
Rose Syrup - 2 tbsp
Rose petals - 1 rose
Desi Ghee - 1 tsp
Method:
Step 1 : In a pan, add 1 Cup desiccated coconut and roast for maximum 2 mins. Colour of the desiccated coconut should not change.
Step 2 : Add finely chopped rose petals, rose syrup and condensed milk and mix well. Cook for another 2 mins in a low flame. By this time, mixture will thicken. Remove from heat.
Step 3 : Grease your hands with little ghee and scoop out small amount of mixture into your hand. Make to form a ball shape and roll these ladoo in desiccated coconut. Repeat the same process with remaining mixture.
Note : Red food color can be added into it. It is optional.
