Coconut Ladoo using condensed milk


Coconut ladoo is one of the easiest sweet can be prepared with less time and with only two ingredients. It may take 10 mins to prepare 20 coconut ladoo. I wanted to prepare 5 different types of ladoos for lakshmi pooja. So I prepared 3 variation of coconut ladoo. Other two recipes are also quick and easy recipe with less ingredients and recipes will be posting soon. A year back for same lakshmi pooja, I had prepared Microwave Besan ladoo.  

Ingredients:


Desiccated coconut  - 1 Cup + 4 tbsp
Condensed Milk      - 1/3 Cup
Desi Ghee           - 1 tsp


Method:


Step 1 : In a pan, add 1 Cup desiccated coconut and roast for maximum 2 mins. Colour of the desiccated coconut should not change.


Step 2: Add 1/2 cup condensed milk and mix well with desiccated coconut. Cook for another 2 mins in a low flame. By this time, mixture will thicken. Remove from heat.


Step 3 : Grease your hands with little ghee and scoop out small amount of mixture into your hand. Make a ball in shape and roll these ladoo in desiccated coconut. Repeat the same process with remaining mixture.


Note :
1) Don’t over the desiccated coconut. It loose its colour.
2) Mixture should not be over cooked.
3) It can be refrigerated for a week.
