Table turnip paratha is one of the healthy breakfast and its good for everyone at home. My kids prefer to eat poori instead of paratha. Usually, I use paratha dough itself to prepare poori for my kids. For rest of the family, We prepare paratha. I had bought Table turnip from ooty. I had prepared paratha using Table turnip's leaves and Akki rotti using Table turnip itself. I will be posting Table turnip akki rotti.
Ingredients:
Wheat Flour - 2 cups
Table Turnip leaves - 1 cup tightly packed (finely chopped)
Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
Garam Masala powder - 1 tsp
Raw mango powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Oil - 2 tsp
Water for kneading as required
Oil or ghee as required for roasting
Salt as per taste
Method:
Step 2 : In a bowl, Add wheat flour, table turnip leaves, salt, red
chilli powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, raw mango powder
and mix well. Add water into the mix and knead to a smooth dough. Add
oil at the end and knead again. Keep it for 30 mins as a rest time.
Step 3 : Make medium sized dough balls and roll the dough into medium sized chapathi or paratha. Heat a tava and drizzle oil on paratha and cook till both the sides has golden spots. Serve hot table turnip leaves paratha with some pickle or tomato chutney.

For Poori,
Step 4 : Make small balls of dough and start to flatten it. *Neither too thin nor too thick.
Step 5 : Deep fry in hot oil and remove when it start to turn light brown in colour.
Step 6 : Serve hot with any sabzi or even with coconut chutney
