Hello Foodies,
My mom liked my sweet corn palak. She
asked me to prepare one more dish with palak. Here is the recipe for
Palak Bahar.
Ingredients:
Palak – 6 bunches
Finely Chopped Onion – 1 Big
Finely Chopped Garlic – 10 cloves
1 or 2 Green Chilli – to taste
Chopped Beans/Gobi/Carrot/Peas – 2
Cup
Chopped Tomato -- 1
Garam Masala – 1 table spoon
Red Chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Lemon Juice
Procedure:
1) Add the cleaned palak into the
boiling water for 5mins and remove from the hot water and rinse with
cold water or Cook the palak for 5mins in microwave with ¼ glass
water.
2) Make a paste of Palak with green
chillies.
3) Heat two table spoon of oil in
kadai. Add Jeera and finely chopped Garlic. Add Onion and Fry till it
turns transluent.
4) Add Salt and Red chilli
powder(optional)
5) Add Palak paste and cook for 2-3
mins.
6) In another kadai, add 2 spoon of oil
and add chopped tomato. Once the oil comes out from the tomato, add
half steamed vegetables into it.
7) Add red chilli powder and salt into
it. Fry it
8) Add vegetable mixture into the palak
gravy and cook for 2 mins.
9) Add Garam Masala into it.
