DIY : Simple Bottle Painting

Any glass drinks bottle can be reused for many purposes like a show piece, pot for water plants, lamp stand and many more. In this DIY, I have shown very basic and simple bottle painting and require minimal materials. Before painting the glass bottle, remove the labels/stickers on bottle, clean it thoroughly and dry completely. This activity can be done along with your kids. Even they will enjoy.

This post was pending from long time(almost more than 6 months). Recently I took the final pic of painted bottle where I have used as a pot for Money plant in my garden. You can see the fine dust on the bottle.

Materials Required :

Empty Glass Bottle - 1
Tape - 1
Spray paint - Any colour
Fevicryl 3D cone in gold colour

Method :

1) Stick tape where ever you doesn’t want to apply paint. I have stick around the bottle with a gap as shown in the pic.

2) Instead of spray paint, acrylic or fabric paint can be used. Since it is a basic bottle painting. Hence I have used spray paint which takes less time to paint a bottle and even it gives nice finish. Spread a news paper and place a bottle. Spray the paint all over the bottle. Allow it to dry completely.

3) Once the paint is dry, then remove tape slowly from the bottle. Outline with gold 3D tube paint. Allow it to dry.
