One of the dessert which can be served after heavy meals and people won’t say ‘No’ to it. Healthy and simple dessert. Milk chocolate can be replaced with Dark chocolate, healthier and better version.
Ingredients:
Dates - 25
Almond / Roasted almonds - 25
Milk Chocolate - 75 gms
Method:
Step 1 : Deseed the dates by cutting at one side of the date and insert one or two almonds into each date and place it on parchment paper.
Step 2 : Chop milk chocolate bar into smaller chunks and transfer into a microwave safe bowl. Melt chocolate in a microwave for 60 secs to 90 secs with an interval of 30 secs and stir between each heating. Chocolate should be smooth without lumps.
Step 3 : Dip one date carefully at a time into the chocolate and coat completely. Lift date from chocolate with skewer or fork and pat gently to remove excess chocolate. Place chocolate coated dates on parchment paper. Once all the dates are coated with chocolate, allow it to set completely or keep it in the fridge for 10 to 15 mins to set faster. Remove dates from paper and store in airtight container.
