Mint Chutney / Pudina Chutney for Chat

Mint Coriander chutney can be used for sandwiches or can be served along with any Indian chats like Samosa, Pakoda, Dhokla. It goes very well with any Indian chats or snacks. In this chutney, I have used coriander along with Mint. Coriander can be skipped for Mint chutney. I have freeze mint chutney into ice cubes which can be preserved for longer period. 

  


Ingredients:

Bunch of chopped pudina/Mint leaves      - 1
Bunch of chopped coriander leaves        - 1
Green chopped chilies                    - 2
Lemon juice                              - 2 tbsp
Ginger                                   - 1/2 inch
Cumin Seeds                              - 1 1/2 tsp
Oil                                      - 1 tsp
Sugar                                    - 1 tsp
Pinch of hing

Method:

Step 1 :
Blend all the ingredients into smooth paste and add water as required. Taste can be adjusted by increase or decreasing salt, green chillies, lemon juice.

Step 2 : Freeze the chutney in an ice cube trays and later transfer into a zip lock plastic bag. While serving, defrost each ice cube and use it.
