Milk Popsicle



One of the recipe linked to everyone's childhood and after school delight for every kid. 




Ingredients:

Milk         – 2 cups
Sugar        – 5 tbsp
Corn flour   – 2 tsp
Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp

Method: 

1. Boil milk in a pan. Meanwhile, take corn flour in a bowl with little milk and make a smooth paste without lumps

2. Boil milk in low flame till it shrinks little. Now add sugar and vanilla essence to the milk. Stir until sugar dissolves completely Stir well until the sugar dissolves

3. Add corn flour mixture to the milk and stir continuously to avoid burning

4. Once the milk thickens and becomes creamy in texture, remove from flame and cool completely before pouring into mould.

5. Pour the prepared milk to the mould or any disposable glass and close with lid or cover with aluminium foil and insert icecream sticks to glass. Freeze overnight or 7 to 8 hrs.

6. Refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight. Next day or after 7 to 8 hrs, demould the Popsicle by keeping in the warm water or keeping under running water. Remove slowly from mould.
Serve immediately.

Tip:
Crushed nuts or fresh fruits like strawberry, kiwi or coconut flakes can be added into the Milk Popsicle.
