Herbal Ubtan / Bath Powder for Kids

My mom heard about preparing bath powder in one of the program telecasted in TV. She prepared this for my son when he was 1 year old. She prefers ayurvedic or home made products for kids. Any day home made products or ayurvedic products are good compare to store bought products. This bath powder is very easy to prepare. All these ingredients are readily available in your kitchens. This makes skin soft and smooth. Even I use this as face pack or scrub.

Green Gram - 1 cup
Chana Dal - 1/2 cup
Dried Peas - 1/2 cup
Neem Leaves - 5 to 6 strands

Method:

Step 1: Dry all the above ingredients under the shade for 3 to 4 days. Later it can be dried under sun for half a day.

Step 2: Take it in a blender/mixer grinder and powder finely.

Step 3: Store in a air tight container.

As a Bath powder: Take the bath powder in a dry spoon and mix with little water to make a paste and apply on face and body.

As a Face pack : Mix powder with rose water(Oily/Normal skin) or Milk(Dry Sking) to make a paste. Apply on face for 20mins and wash with water.

As a Scrub : Mix powder with little water and gently massage on face for 2 to 3 mins max and later wash with water.
