Pav Bhaji


Hello Foodies, 

My mom doesn't like to eat chats at road side, especially north Indian chats. She prefers to be prepared at home. Being a South Indian, We hardly prepares north Indian chats at home. This time, I thought of preparing Pav Bhaji for her. It came out really tasty and she liked it. 

Here goes the recipe for Pav Bhaji......






Ingredients:-
Cauliflower - 1/2 cup
Chopped Carrot  - 1/2 cup
Peas - 1/2 cup
Potato  - 1/2 cup 
Oil - 1 tbsp
Onion - 1
Capsicum - 1
Ginger-Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Jeera - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Pav bhaji Masala - 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves - for garnishing
Salt for taste
Butter - 1 tbsp 
Pav - 6


Preparation:- 

Step 1 :- Boil the vegetables apart from capsicum and mash it 

Step 2 :- Add oil into kadai. Add jeera into oil. Once the jeera splutters, add ginger-garlic paste, finely chopped onion. 

Step 3 :- Once onion turns into translucent  then add finely chopped capsicum and fry it. 

Step 4 :- Add mashed veggies into it. cook for 2 mins.

Step 5 :- Add Salt, Garam Masala, Red chilli powder, Pav bhaji Masala and 1 cup of water. Cook for 2-3 mins 

Step 6 :- Cut the Pav in the middle and toast with butter on tawa both the sides. 

Step 7 :- In a plate, Place a pav topped with Butter and garnish Bhaji with coriander. 



My mom asked me whether bhaji can be have with chapati :) Nice thought!!!!
