Bellada Kaayi Chutney / Coconut Sweet Chutney


Generally we prepare Sihi(sweet) chutney for Idly and Neer Dosa. It is one of easiest coconut chutney to prepare, less time consuming and has only three ingredients. Kids will love this chutney. Since its sweet for their taste buds. Jaggery can be replaced with sugar but jaggery will give the traditional touch to the chutney. Freshly grated coconut will be give a nice taste to the chutney.



Ingredients:


Grated coconut    - 1 Cup
Jaggery           - 3 to 4 tbsp
Cardamom          - 1
Water             - 1/4 cup

Preparation:

Step 1: Add grated coconut, jaggery, cardamom and water into a blender or mixi jar and grind it. Now transfer the chutney into a bowl and water can be added accordingly.

Note: Chutney should not a be fine paste.
