Bangada or Mackerel Fish Fry


Anybody can try this simple fish fry and takes very less time to prepare fish fry. Both my hubby and FIL likes fish but my MIL haven’t prepared at home. I tried this recipe and everybody like it a lot. This recipe made me to try many more fish recipes.

Ingredients:

Bangada/Mackerel Fish - 1KG (cleaned)
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 4 tbsp (can vary the quantity)
Garam Masala Powder - 1 tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tbsp
Lemon Juice or Vinegar - 2 tbsp
Rice flour - 2 tbsp
Curry leaves - 15 leaves
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Method:

Step 1 : Clean the fish and drain it. Make a paste of all the ingredients in a blender except Fish and oil . Salt and spices can be vary based on individual. Coat the fish with the paste and set aside for min 30 mins.

Step 2 : Heat oil in a tawa and fry fish till turns golden on both sides. Serve hot with onion and lemon.
