Haul Post: Oct 2012


Dasara has kicked off in mysore. It’s our Naada habba (local festival). From childhood, it’s more fun during dasara. City will be decorated like a new bride with lights lights and lights. Different type of competitions will be held during Navarathri like Singing, Dancing, Park decoration, Garden decoration, Doll arrangement etc.  A Lot of functions will be held in different places in the city like Yuva dasara, programs inside the palace, Jaganmohana palace. I will be updating about Dasara in the coming post.

Haul Post: Sep 2012


My husband had been to Bangkok in September and to KL in the beginning of this month. He bought couple of accessories like Earring, Neck piece, Belt, Bag, Foot wear for me. In this post, I will be flaunting Bangkok trip’s gift (not able to get a pics of belt, bags and foot wears). I will do a separate post on Bags, Shoes and Belt.

DIY: Painting on Jute Bag


Hi,

I got couple of jute bags as a return gift in one of my friend’s marriage. Jute bag was plain and had bride and bride groom’s name. I didn't want to carry a bag which having others name. :) I thought of painting the bags and decorating with stones.

Gowri Ganesha Festival: Update


Every year, I celebrate Gowri Ganesha Festival at my Grandparents place (Mom’s parents). After my marriage, I didn't get a chance to visit my grandparent’s home on festival. On Ganesha festival, my in-laws do a pooja for our ancestors. Since i was at my mom's place, I got a chance to visit on festival itself.

Pav Bhaji


Hello Foodies, 

My mom doesn't like to eat chats at road side, especially north Indian chats. She prefers to be prepared at home. Being a South Indian, We hardly prepares north Indian chats at home. This time, I thought of preparing Pav Bhaji for her. It came out really tasty and she liked it.
